The new
membership policy of the European
Association of Music Therapy students
There are three types of membership within the
EAMTS:
Any music therapy student within Europe can become
a member of the EAMTS. Membership is also possible up to 24 months
after graduation.
Regular members pay an annual fee of 20,-
€, which can also be
payed in two rates. This fee enables you to take advantage in the below
said services of the association.
Membership is valid for one year and will be
automatically extended for
another year if there is no explicit cancellation. Membership can be
terminated by a written notice to the board.
Board members work actively within the management
of the EAMTS and
therefore do not have to pay any membership fee.
Supportive members can be private persons as well
as legal entities.
They decide about their way of helping the EAMTS themselves. Support
can be given financially, textually, ideally or in kind.

The EAMTS
services:
All regular members of the EAMTS
will…
1. .…receive the semi-annual
newsletter. The EAMTS will also inform all members about important news
and
activities in between.
2. .…be invited for the annual
assembly. All regular members and board members will have
a right of vote and
can herewith influence the development of the
association.
3. .…can participate in projects
such as the annual project in Bosnia-Hercegovina (working with traumatized children
during
the summer
holidays), organized by the EAMTS.
4. .…have the opportunity to
participate in interantional music therapy congresses
and conferences
as speakers.
5. .…will get a reduced fee at some
of the European conferences.
6. .…can benefit from the mediation
of cheep accomodation for European music terapy conferences.
7. .…can publish articles (e.g.
about their thesis or research projects) on the website of the EAMTS.
8. .…can take advantage of the list
of internship addresses all over Europe, which the EAMTS provides.
9. .…can participate in research
projects, mediated by the EAMTS.
10. .will benefit from an
extensive network of music therapy students, professional music therapists and music therapy organizations
all over Europe.
11. ..can ask the EAMTS for advices
and information regarding music therapy
training courses, internships,
research and general
topics concerning music therapy on
an European level.
