CALL FOR PAPERS
for the 6th European Music Therapy Congress
June 16-20, 2004 University of Jyväskylä, Finland
For the first time there will be a student symposium at
the European Music Therapy Congress. This symposium will be placed on
friday, june 18, and is a great opportunity for students to talk about
their research thesis or final projects. All students and therapists
who finished studying at least two years ago are invited to submit
proposals for presentations and workshops. Abstracts should be written
in English. The abstracts will be reviewed before acceptance or
non-acceptance.
So take your chance and let us know what you've been working on!
General instructions for the abstract
Headings. Name(s) and university of the author(s)
including city and country. Include a contact address and Email for us
to be able to get in touch with you.
Title of the presentation.
Contents. The one-page abstract should provide
sufficient information for readers to fully asses the aims, methods,
results and implications of the research, clinical practice or theory
in question.
At least one reference from a lecturer or professor.
Workshop organizers will need to indicate what the participants will experience and learn.
Submissions should be send as an email attachment to mail@eamts.org
by February 15, 2004. The email attachment should be a simple Word or
WordPerfect document in rtf format using a standard font (Times, Times
New Roman, Arial).
Instruction for presentation
Oral presentation. For each presentation will be allocated 45 minutes and some of this time can be used for discussion.
Workshops will last 90 minutes. These are not extended oral presentations but intended to be experiential sessions
